Item 5.02    Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

On November 8, 2021, Rick McConnell, President and General Manager of the Security Technology Group of Akamai Technologies, Inc. (the “Company”), notified the Company of his intent to resign to accept a role as CEO of another public company. Such resignation is expected to be effective as of December 12, 2021, after a period of transitioning his duties to an internal successor.
